Sidelights:
The wedding of Elmer & Alona held January 5 2008 reunited Angel's Wink, Richel Mascariñas and former AWP couple Allan and Babyleen Macaraeg (nee Endaya) who were married in December 2006 also in Taal, Batangas.
You might not know that Taal's Church, Taal Basilica is among the biggest Catholic Churches in the world. It is still very beautiful and overwhelmingly.... huge. The priests and church people there though are kinda old-world, they should attend lessons on new trends in Catholic weddings as well as good-manners and basic PR from Manila Cathedral.
My point is, if Manila Cathedral People ( Manila Cathedral is supposedly the "central", you know) are very well-mannered, professional, very open to suggestions as far as music and other wedding-related "artforms" without having to bend on their strict rules provided requests are acceptable and wouldn't affect the Catholic church's sensibilities, I do not see any reason why other Catholic churches shouldn't. Considering that infos are sent to various Dioceses re new and allowable rules.
No wonder Catholic Churches like Manila Cathedral, San Agustin Church, Santuario de San Antonio (in Forbes Park ), Santuario de San Jose (in Greenhills), Mt. Carmel Church (in New Manila ) are among the most-loved churches as far as weddings are concerned. I should make a complete list next time!
Anyway after that mild rant, hehehehe, here is the picture we took of Allan and Babyleen December 29 of 2006:
